REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

HISTORIC PRESERVATION CONSULTING SERVICES

McDuffie County is seeking qualified responses to a Request for Proposal package for historic preservation consulting services related to the development of Thomson Commercial Design Guidelines using an awarded 2022 CLG Grant. To be considered, responses to the Request for Proposal must be received by 5 p.m., June 9, 2023 at McDuffie County Government Complex, 210 Railroad Street, Thomson, GA 30824, Attn:  Jason Smith.  All mailed proposals must be sealed and should be clearly labeled, McDuffie County RFP 2023-01. Proposals received after the specified date and time will not be considered.   Proposals can be e-mailed to: Jason Smith at jasonbsmith@thomson-mcduffie.gov.

The selected historic preservation consulting firm will be expected to work with McDuffie County to complete this project.   Project funding is from an awarded 2022 Certified Local Government grant to McDuffie County from the Historic Preservation Division (now part of the Georgia Dept. of Community Affairs) and from local general funds of McDuffie County and the City of Thomson.
