Code Enforcement Officer

Position:  Code Enforcement Officer

Department:  Planning & Zoning

Grade:  17

Salary Range/Hourly Rate: $35,224.05 - $52,836.08

This position is responsible for performing all County and City inspections and enforcement in connection with codes and/or ordinances, or any applicable codes and ordinances as may now or in the future be assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements:  must hold a high school diploma or equivalent; one or two years college or junior college basic course work preferred; knowledge of building construction, preferred; training in law enforcement, preferred.
